I read every single review on this bathing suit before purchasing it -which is what convinced me to purchase it for a trip to Mexico coming up. I am 55 and a size 12 with a 36B bust, very thick waist, and thin thighs. I bought both medium and large and really could go either way. The medium is tighter at the bottom and obviously slimmer through the blouse. But it still works. The bottom is slightly high waisted. I love the fact that I can wear the top with a pair of shorts or a wraparound skirt and go places in town in Mexico as it’s not very revealing.I like it enough I recommended it to my sister with the same body type.

Ok I absolutely love this bathing suit I opted to buy separate shorts to go with the top since I'm not a big on bikini bottoms although the high waisted ones that came with it are wonderful I'm just a little too thick for all that. I'm 5'4 usually a large I sized up because I'm a DD and I was afraid it would be too small in the chest. I think I might have been fine at a large though. This bathing suit hides everything when it comes to mom stomachs. I absolutely love the top. It's comfortable and lose. I think a large would have been fine too but if you're in question sizing up won't hurt.

I'm short and fat. This suit is very flattering and the purple looks amazing with tan skin. Many compliments. Everyone asked where I got it. Def 5 stars!

Love this bathing suit. Ordered a small and it fits great! My biggest concern is my mom belly and this suit is perfect if like me you don't want to accentuate that area of your body. Its blousey not skin tight like most tankinis. I bought 2 and love them both!
